Editorial policy

Articles are compiled from official sources, checked for content by the editorial team and updated when legislation changes.

Sources

We refer to the official publication of a law, decree or list. Every sentence with a legal date, a percentage or an amount links to that source. We do not quote standards that have to be bought; we only state their status.

Review

An editor who knows the language and the subject checks every article before publication. The editor verifies the facts and sources, adds an example from practice and checks the tone. Only after that approval is an article published.

Updates

When a source changes or a deadline passes, the article is flagged and revised. The date of the last content check is shown with every article. A minor correction does not change that date.

What we do not do

We do not give legal advice and never claim that a product or document is compliant, approved or certified. That requires an authorised party.

Read the articles in the knowledge base or check your own files with one of the tools.
