How it works

A check has four steps. No person sits in between: everything runs automatically and you can follow each step in your account.

1. Input

You choose a tool and upload your file or enter the requested data. The file type is checked by its content, not by its extension. An unreadable file is refused before you pay anything.

2. Check

The tool tests your input against the ruleset that applies on the day of the check. Fixed calculation rules and formal requirements always come first. For an extended check of free text you pay a fixed price in advance.

3. Result

You see the score and the number of findings per severity at once. The most important finding is shown in full. You buy the full result with a report per check; the price is fixed in advance.

4. Fix directly

Where a finding can be corrected, you can have it fixed. After the fix the tool runs a new check with the same ruleset. You only pay for what is resolved; the rest is refunded automatically.

What an outcome means

Every tool has one label: self-declaration, ready for assessment by a certification body, or indicative. We never claim that anything is compliant, approved or certified. Every report names the tool version, the ruleset and the date the sources were last checked.
